The Melbourne International Comedy Festival are well into the season this year.

If you've seen Wil Anderson on ABC's Gruen, then you'll know how great he is with a panel. However see him by himself on stage, not restricted by the ABC as to what he can say provides for an excellent night's entertainment.

Although I haven't had a chance to see him live just yet, Dane Simpson provided a hilarious excited performance in the gala that's bound to be followed up with a great show
